Aeon is a skin for XBMC, designed to "create an attractive, sophisticated and above all personal environment for organising and enjoying media".〔http://aeonproject.com/〕 It was created by Duncan Harris (alias ''djh_'') in 2007, and has not stopped evolving since then.〔''Aeon'' evolution timeline: http://aeonproject.com/history.html〕 The current ''stable'' version is called ''Stark'', and refers to version 0.91. It was released on April 4, 2009. ''Auriga'' is the next scheduled version, and it refers to version 1.0. There are currently no scheduled date for its final release.
